With a private entrance and your own secluded patio, it’s the perfect little retreat whether you're visiting SDSU, exploring the city, or relaxing at the beach. 20 minute walk to SDSU Less than a 20 minute drive to the beach, airport, downtown, and the zoo!

🔹There is a slight incline leading to the back of the property where the casita is located. 🚫 Pet Policy (No Pets Allowed) • No pets are permitted at this property • Applies to cats, dogs, and all other animals • This policy protects guests with allergies and helps maintain the condition of our furnishings • Violations may result in additional cleaning fees or removal from the property 🏠 House Rules • The primary guest who makes the reservation must be physically present for the entire stay. Third-party bookings are not permitted. • The total number of guests must be accurately specified at the time of booking. Only the registered guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. Unregistered visitors or overnight guests are not permitted. • No parties or events • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM • Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, marijuana, and vaping) is strictly prohibited inside and outside the property. Violations will result in a $500 fine. 🔞 Age Requirement • Minimum age to book this property is 25 • A valid government-issued ID may be required to verify age before check-in • Reservations made by guests under the age minimum may be canceled if not verified ✅ Guest Verification For safety, insurance, and building requirements, all direct bookings must complete a quick verification through our secure guest portal. This includes providing a government-issued ID, basic contact information, the purpose of your stay, signing a short rental agreement, and submitting the refundable $500 security deposit. The process takes less than a minute. The security deposit is securely processed and released automatically after checkout, as long as no damage or rule violations occur. By booking, you agree to complete this verification process prior to check-in. Check-in instructions will be released once verification is complete.

House Rules

Quiet time in the must be observed from 9pm-8am. We live onsite and the house is in a quiet residential neighborhood with young families next door. Smoking is not allowed. This includes marijuana and vapes. Parties are not allowed. Only guests on the reservation are allowed on the property. Pets are not allowed. If these policies are violated it will result in the reservation being terminated with no refund and the guest being asked to leave the premises.

We are located in a beautiful residential neighborhood mixed with craftsmen and spanish style mid-century homes. Our home has a walk score of "83 - Very Walkable" with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby.

Guest Access

You will have a private walkway/entrance on the side of the house that leads to the back unit. There is a privacy fence that separates the main house and the guest house.

We went to San Diego for our son's graduation from SDSU and this casita could not have been more perfect. The location was so close to the school. The casita was so clean and adorable. It met all of our expectations and then some. Jake and Nancy take very good care of their rental and it shows. So glad we did not opt for a hotel and went with our very first Airbnb!!!

We enjoyed very much staying at the house. It is very comfortable for a couple, quiet, well furnished and it has a nice living room in together with the kitchen. The street is calm and easy to park. If you’re interested to stay close to San Diego State University (as it was our case) this is a perfect location as you can walk there and also to Trader Joes and coffee shops nearby. The only thing that was annoying to me, but this has nothing to do with the house or the owners is the frequent smelling of Marijuana apparently coming from people living nearby.

I stayed at this Airbnb while visiting my daughter at SDSU, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful, very clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s located in a quiet, safe neighborhood, yet still close to plenty of restaurants and shopping options. Jack and Nancy were fantastic hosts very responsive (Jack replies quickly!) and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient, and the parking was perfect as well. I would definitely book this place again and again whenever I come back to visit my daughter. Highly recommend!

I was so happy booked this casita when visiting my son at SDSU! It was an easy walking distance to the campus, great coffee nearby (Scrimshaw coffee) and plenty of free parking spaces on the street. The casita was clean and had everything I needed. The kitchen fully equipped, a truly great shower and nice large bed. Communication was easy and smooth. Definitely 5 stars out of 5!

My daughter and I stayed here for the close proximity to SDSU. We walked to campus for the admitted student tour. It felt very safe. The casita was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here.

Had a great stay overall. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched the listing. The location was convenient and made getting around easy. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay, which made everything smooth. Check-in and check-out were simple, and I didn’t run into any issues. Find us

We are situated very centrally in the city. There is public transportation nearby, however if you plan to explore San Diego more extensively, you will likely want a car or will have to take Uber or Lyft. We are less than a 20 min drive to the airport, beach, downtown, and the San Diego zoo.
